Over the last months, Oxford Green Party councillors, activists and supporters have taken to the streets to stand up against the far-right and those seeking to divide our communities.
We have rallied against anti-immigration protesters, and in support of asylum seekers currently housed in a hotel in Oxford – as we did not long ago and again in the city centre. We condemned the recent attack on the Central Oxford Mosque and we stood in solidarity with Muslim residents.
We will not give in to rising hate. We stand shoulder to shoulder with migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, racialised and marginalised communities currently facing increasing intimidation and hostility.
We will fight for hope, not hate and a city that is fair and just – where all are welcome and free to live without fear.
Join us and let’s stand up for our community. 💚
